Speaking as one Ex-smoker of 30 + years I think this is an excellent and very fair article.

For the past 2 years I have used the E-Cigarette and I will not go back to tobacco.
Every article I have read touts the liquid substitute.
I can only speak from a personal point of view… No withdraw, much healthier, no more smokers cough, no tobacco smell, much cheaper. Those are all things I know to be fact.

Anyone wanting to get away from tobacco, I highly recommend the E- Cigarette as an alternative.

Of course quitting completely would be the better choice, but I would label this as second best

Immoral people allow and occasionally encourage immoral systems that favor more immoral people. In democracies this leads to electing immoral leaders. In other sorts of nations it brings the immoral to leadership through other means.

I disagree with the order of your causality statement. It seems more likely to me that when the rest of us lack a meaningful center we end up with leaders who also lack a moral core.

This isn’t a big deal. Who the deal cares where the original idea came from? It’s still a flawed idea buying a 50 dollar shoe and then giving some African kid a 3 dollar one. I bought some Aldo’s which look like Toms aswell and I don’t regret it. They were at a better price and look much better.

Thank you for your comment. I’m not sure what CrashPlan is trying to be now — it seems like they’re moving away from critical hard drive failure restorations and more to a selective backup service.

I don’t have near the experience those of you writing in this blog have. But when CrashPlan told me it would take 39.5 days to upload (now 25.9 days) my files, it un-nerved me. So I shall not purchase the service. It will take a while for CrashPlan and programs like it to fix the long time frame for uploading. David’s note on uploading his music to Amazon certainly underlines my feelings. I believe CrashPlan likely is an excellent program but definitely a work-in-progress.
