Malaika Booker-Wright is a 25 year-old native New Yorker. She is currently a full-time student at the College of New Rochelle.
Ms. Booker-Wright works full time for New York Foundling as a Disabilities Specialist and works part-time at Lutheran Social Services. She was raised by her single parent mother (without whom she could not breathe) and she is helped by her little sister, Siam (who teaches her all the latest trends and new slang).
Malaika Booker-Wright realized she loved to write when she started college. She hasn't had much time to write, but school gives her an outlet for expression. The works you read here in Go Inside Magazine are her first published pieces.
