Biorhythm

Biorhythms are said to be an accurate portrait of emotional, intellectual, and physical cycles each of us begin at birth.

Installation
To install Biorhythm for the HPC the quickest way, just copy the 23 KB version to the HPC in the directory you prefer.  Alternately, the easy way is to run the larger install program and let it automatically place it on your device. You can locate it on your Flash memory card just by copying it to any other folder. The following little icon will be left on your desktop.

Biorythm's icon.

When you double-tap on it you will get the main interface with a little note that reads: "enter a birthday."  You do that by opening the Biorhythm window and choosing the Birthday entry.  This dialog is seen below.

Just fill in your birthdate.

If you tap on the down-arrow, a date picker will popup to make a nice GUI method for getting that date selected easily.  The calendar is seen in the next screen shot.

A nifty calandar date-picker opens up.

The other entries on the Biorhythm menu are Info and About. The Info screen will show a page of biorhythm data that includes entries for Physical, Emotional, Intellectual, and Critical or Zero Days.

The program gives you some background on the topic.

These entries are only about three or four sentences long.  The brief paragraphs tell about the common method of interpreting the biorhythm curves.

How about those curves?
The real fun of the program zooms right up the second you complete the entry of your birthday and the day you are analyzing.  The three color screen shown below is typical.  In that shot you will see a green and blue line intersecting high above the mid-line.  Also, a red line dips low below it.  These graph lines are labeled E, I, and P respectively. That stands for Emotional, Intellectual, and Physical.

Biorhythm's main interface and color graph.

What one should conclude from these lines is that my 23-day physical cycle is as low as it can get today.  I should tend to get tired easily or be prone to catch a cold and other illnesses. My 28-day Emotional cycle is supposed to be pretty high and still rising.  My 33-day Intellectual cycle is also high and not going to be "critical" for about four more days.  Is this relevant to my current state? Well, I am tired and do have a sore throat.  As for my social and brain power savvy...well, you'll have to ask others. My feeling about those topics are very entrainable and, subjectively, seem to change from hour to hour! But, I will be doing some important work tomorrow, so I hope to be performing well in these areas...it beats the alternative.

The View menu and the Toolbar to the right of it allow you to turn off any or all lines in the graph.

Any of the three rhythms can be seen in compination or alone.

As they say, that is all there is to it!  This small program is a great way to peek into the biorhythms of any day and for any birthday.

Requirements
Biorhythm works on any Windows CE 2.0 HPC. It does make nice use of color but that is not required. The program requires only 23 KB of storage but can be downloaded in the larger 750 KB version for easy installation, if you prefer.  There is a 23 KB version that can simply be copied to a Flash memory card to preserve your HPC's limited main memory.

Conclusion
Biorhythm is a cute and small program that is especially nice on color HPC units.  It may be no more useful than a horoscope or a random guess - I'm not the one to say - but it is always entertaining to have a look into your future. The cost is free. Ezos's Windows CE Software is located here and there are lots of other applications to take a look at.

Biorhythm works fine and is a cute little program that might offer more than entertainment.  I give Biorhythm three out of five Go Inside Review Lights.
