Steve Gaines was born a poet. He is a student of Nebraska: The University, The People, The Land, The Spirit. Mr. Gaines does not shudder from his own reflection.
Mr. Gaines is presently engaged in a professional acting career after successfully retiring from a 30 year association with the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and the Nebraska ETV Network. He is a proud, and actively employed, member of Actor’s Equity.
Mr. Gaines presently lives in Lincoln, Nebraska. He shares life with his lovely wife Sharon and together they fawn over five children and eleven grandchildren!
