“My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.”
Dear Father in heaven
the day you allowed my son
to come home to You, I was lost.
You know my pain and grief.
Like never before, I know Your Love, Mercy and Grace,
I feel Your Love, when I am weak with grief.
Your Mercy and Grace, when I am sad.
You give me strength, when I have none.
When darkness overcomes me, You are my light.
I ask not “take this pain”
for I know Your Grace is sufficient for me.
I know of Your promise of peace
when I too come home to see
my beloved son again,
and most of all – You!
I only ask in Jesus’ name
please, surround me with Your grace
so I can live again.
Amen.
