The Olympic Village in Homebush Bay west of Sydney is drowned by a flood of Good Friday visitors to the Royal Easter Show. Over 1 million people will come though the turnstiles this year, buoyed by “affordable” entrance tickets that include public transport passes from as far afield as Newcastle, a 2-hour drive north of the city.
