At the house of Domaine Chandon, the Australian arm of the famous French house of Moet & Chandon, only the finest French oak barrels are used in the maturation of reserve sparkling wine. The cool climate of the Yarra Valley, an hour's drive east of Melbourne, is ideal for the growing of sparkling wine grape varieties.
